Seriously easy to fold
The Quickie QS5 X is the wheelchair that really redefines easy folding with it's FreeFold technology. FreeFold is an innovative cross-brace design that reduces folding forces and saves you over 40% energy. It also makes transportation easy with an optional folding fixation to keep your wheelchair folded and avoid the seat popping up and blocking the view whilst driving.
Lightweight and tough
Weighing only 7.3kg without wheels, it boasts the title of the lightest aluminium box frame wheelchair out there. Constructed with heat-treated 7000 series aluminium, its lock-out frame and oval-tubed 4-arm cross brace provides a ride performance and stability that will rival any rigid chair.
FreeFold
Thanks to the innovative FreeFold feature, the FreeFold is easy to fold, and it stays folded. The precise and sophisticated engineering of the FreeFold's folding geometry results in an impressively small amount of force being needed to fold or unfold the QS5 X. Added to this, the wheel chamber does not change when folding, meaning the QS5 X stays standing solidly and stably on the ground.
Fixed-Front or Swing-Away?
The Fixed-Front version has footrests which are permanently attached to the frame of the chair. This feature is found to be particularly beneficial for those with higher positioning demands as it will help to keep their legs in the ideal position.
The Swing-Away version has footrests which can be swung away to the side. This enables comfortable and safer transferrals in and out of the chair. Removing the footrest means that it is possible to position yourself closer to what you would like to transfer on, such as the sofa.
Bright removable LED lights
Having your own lights is certainly a necessity for most, whether you're going to the bathroom at night and don't want to turn the main light on or travelling in the evening and need the extra vision. Discreetly tucked away into the frame of the QS5 X, the bright LEDs can also be removed for charging.

Nationwide White Glove Engineer Delivery & Home Set Up
If you live further away than 30 miles from Oakham, you can still enjoy a nationwide mainland uk “white glove” Home set up by an engineer, including home set-up and demonstration of use, service for £95. It costs a bit extra but is well worth the money. An engineer will deliver your purchase to your home, set it up and show you how to use it. They will even take all the packaging away. Select “White Glove Engineer Delivery” at the checkout to take advantage of this option. Available to all uk mainland Postcodes.
Half Price Local White glove Delivery including Home Set Up
Including Home set up by engineer and a demonstration of the controls or what we call Local white glove delivery. If the delivery address is within 30 miles of Oakham, Rutland, You can enjoy half price delivery and engineer set-up. If you qualify, this option will appear at the checkout, depending on the postcode given for the delivery address.

Free Standard Courier delivery
On all orders over £75. You can have your purchase delivered by courier standard pallet delivery FREE to any UK mainland address.(this is usually by TNT and on large items like scooters,ramps & riser chairs this will be to the nearest kerbside to your property as the vans do not always have pallet trucks to move the heavy item into your property.
The courier will drop off the equipment in a box and it will be up to you to unpack and assemble your purchase. If you haven't anyone to assist you we recommend you upgrade to the engineer set up white glove delivery option. Delivery will usually be 2-4 days from order ( for specific days a delivery upgrade charge will apply ) deliveries are not timed and will usually take place between 9- 5pm Monday to Friday.
