Permobil Electric Wheelchairs
For more than five decades, Permobil's founder, Dr. Per Uddén, believed that everyone should have the right to be independent, and that's what inspired our amazing power wheelchairs. Dr. Uddén did a lot of work with people with polio who couldn't go outside, and he really wanted to help them. So, he made some of the very first power wheelchairs!
Today, Permobil wheelchairs can be changed a lot to fit exactly what each person needs. They have easy to use controls, many add-on options, and ways to connect to other equipment.
Our ultimate goal is to help the people who use our wheelchairs live their lives just the way they want.
